Our Best Hand Was the Community That Showed Up.
Bringing back the annual UTV Poker Run proved to be a huge success this year as more than 55 machines and 140+ supporters came to play!
It had been 4 years since Ozark Alliance had hosted a UTV poker run, but bringing it back proved to be successful in more ways than one!
We talked about it, talked about it some more, and finally picked a date—and October 3rd delivered a beautiful fall day for fundraising, friendship, and community! Folks gathered at Coffman Bend Storage before heading to our first stop, Fill’er Up & Liquor, where we picked up delicious breakfast burritos prepared for us by the Legacy–Climax Springs Civic Center. From there, we visited a beautiful private countryside spot decked out for Halloween, followed by stops at Bottoms Up, Moonies, and finally, the Red Fox.
The best part? Our local organizations and children benefited, and so did our local businesses. That’s what it’s all about: community. We want everyone to win—and this time, we all did! Thank you to everyone who joined us, welcomed us, and helped make the day a success. With better weather than we could have asked for and such a great turnout of community spirit, we’re inspired to bring this annual fall tradition back to life!
Over $6000 was raised for our community which will immensely help us with our daily snack program. We could not be happier and we all the thanks goes to YOU.
