Community Cookout Brings Neighbors Together

There's something about a cookout that brings people together in a way few other things can. The smell of food on the grill, kids running around, neighbors catching up — it's simple, and it's exactly what Climax Springs needed on a warm September afternoon.

A Packed Park

More than 150 residents turned out for this year's cookout at the Climax Springs park, making it one of our best-attended events to date. Families came from all corners of the community, and the energy was exactly what we hoped for — relaxed, warm, and full of laughter.

Volunteers fired up the grills early and kept the food coming all afternoon. There were games for the kids, music in the background, and plenty of good conversation happening at every picnic table.

Why We Do This

Ozark Alliance was built on the belief that community starts with connection. Events like this cookout aren't just fun — they're how neighbors become friends, and how friends become the kind of people who show up for each other when it counts.

In a community where hardship is real for many families, moments of joy and togetherness matter. They remind us that we're in this together.

See You Next Year

We're already looking forward to next year's cookout. If you'd like to volunteer, sponsor, or just show up and enjoy the food, keep an eye on our Facebook page for announcements.

Thank you to everyone who came out, helped set up, and made the afternoon what it was. You are Climax Springs at its best.
